  • Art in 1st

    Michelangelo painted the Ceiling of the Sistine Chapel over the course of 4 years. Over the course of 40 minutes arms were sore as Ms. O’sullivan’s class recreated their own “ceiling fresco!” Huge respect for Michelangelo after today!! The class also made amazing treasure maps with the help of some good quality Barry’s Tea!!

    Junior Infants are learning about the farm and all the work the farmer does in aistear this month. The children are busy setting up a farmers market, reading and writing and making scarecrows in art.

  • Polling Station

    As you are keenly aware, Friday the 25th is Referendum Day. Scoil Mhuire is an official Polling Station and therefore the school will be closed all day on Friday the 25th of May.
