The green flag ceremony

On May the tenth 2016 we received our sixth green flag for Global Citizinship and litter and waste. We were chosen to represent the school because our names were picked out of a hat. We went on a bus to Athlone. There were pupils from two other schools on the bus to the Radison Blu Hotel. There were lots of other schools there. There was a free lunch for all the green teams. There was a big room to collect the Green flags. Only five school were given their Global Citizenship flag. We arrived home at 3.45pm. It was a great day. Here are some photos of the great day we had. Thank you Ms. Conroy and Ms. Mooney for coming along and for all your hard work.
