The students of Senior Infants were very lucky to have the chance to step inside Tullamore Fire Station and chat with the very accommodating Firemen who explained their busy working environment. Not only did the students get the opportunity to check out the fire pole and the special uniforms that are worn by these brave men and women – but the very VERY lucky students got a chance to hop inside a real fire engine. Lights were flashing, siren was blaring – the adults here at Scoil Mhuire are still trying their very best not to be jealous!!
