Ms. Delaney’s 1st class boys and girls put some of their pocket money into the Trócaire box during Lent. They learned about the families who are in trouble because of extreme weather conditions in Honduras and decided to try to save some money to buy emergency supplies for them. The children raised €38.37 which will buy some clean water and hygiene kits along with enough food to feed a family for one month. Well done boys and girls for this act of love for the poor. Teacher is really proud of you!
