The students of 4th, 5th and 6th had a very exciting day today as environmental scientist and geologist Michelle explained all about biodiversity, pollination and map drawing. The girls drew a map of an area in the town park and explored the flora and fauna within the area.
The students then studied fossils and even had a chance to make their own!! Huge thank you to the Heritage in Schools initiative by the Heritage Council for running this fascinating workshop. It was a fantastic eye opener into the world around us.
