Another successful Maths Week was held here at Scoil Mhuire this week. All the classes took part in a wide variety of activities- including Maths Trails, challenges and quizzes.
Junior Infants were lucky to have 6th class on hand to help them out with a few tricky questions.
2nd class girls were busy as well.
6th class took part in their own daily challenges and trail and they experimented with 2d and 3d shapes with the help of some iPad magic!
The annual Maths Quiz was a hug success and we will have a photo of the winning teams on Monday.

Ms. Reddan’s class took part in a Multiplication Bee Competition, Sudoku Challenge and Maths Trail this week.
Ms Murray’s Senior Infants went on a Maths trail today. They hunted for shapes around the school yard and found lots of different ones. Basketball hoops, car wheels, windows and flags have lots of interesting shapes. Maths Week 2018 has been lots of fun.
