Today the junior classes had a number of special visitors. The very nice people of Pet World on Main Street popped in with one slithery and a few furry friends! The children were absolutely thrilled with the opportunity to meet the snake, rabbit and hamster up close and personal.
The children of Scoil Mhuire have enjoyed every “element” of the Science Curriculum. They have observed, predicted, experimented and reported on a wide variety of interesting Scientific Projects. The children have loved every minute of it and we definitely have many budding Einsteins in our midst!
Imelda Lambe of Ms. Murray’s 6th class will represent Offaly on Saturday at the Community Games. She is competing in the 1200m cross country. Best of luck from everyone here at Scoil Mhuire!!
