The hum of the building works around our school is a daily reminder of the exciting changes our walls are experiencing. Today is yet another milestone along this wonderful journey as under the Per Cent for Art Scheme, Scoil Mhuire National School wishes to commission new visual artwork to celebrate and coincide with the complete refurbishment/extension of Scoil Mhuire. This piece of art will be situated between both Scoil Bhríde and Scoil Mhuire.
This is a marvellous opportunity for an artist to showcase their masterpiece on a platform that will be seen from both school buildings, by passers-by as well as passengers riding on the train across the road.
