Last week was another busy week at school. The girls on our football team sailed to victory in their first match of the school year. Unfortunately – due to the hideous rain on the day we are lacking some action shots! Next time!
On Friday athletic teams from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th went to Tullamore Harriers to take part in the Offaly National Schools Cross Country 2016. The girls did Scoil Mhuire very proud and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. For some it was their first time to race in Tullamore Harriers – an experience in itself.
Ms Daly’s class showed their American Visitors what school is like in Ireland & swap stories with Mary Jane who is in the equivalent class as them in New York. Mary Jane’s father & grandmother are from Tullamore.
